Who we are

Pascal Talks (pascaltalks.com) is a personal publication. The data controller is the site owner. Contact details are on the Contact page.

Information we collect

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can read and reply to it. Messages are stored securely in the site’s database and may also be delivered by email.

The hosting provider (Vercel) processes server logs, including IP addresses, to operate and secure the website. The contact form uses a keyed hash of your IP address for rate limiting; the raw address is not stored by this site.

Cookies

Readers are not tracked with advertising or analytics cookies. A strictly necessary session cookie is set only when the site owner signs in to the admin area.

Embedded content

Some articles embed videos from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) or Vimeo. Those services may set their own cookies when you play a video.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Use the Contact page to make a request.

Retention

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond, and are deleted periodically.
